Taunting Glaciers started as a solo project where I had some material recorded that was really different from what I was doing in my other bands
and since this other bands were slowing down the pace I thought it was time to focus on this project to have this material recorded because it was sounding really cool and it was going to be worthy of making in the end.
Then I recorded "On Discussing Wolves" and "Gatekeeper" and showed it to some of my friends because I wanted some feedback and perhaps collabs to continue the project.
And one of them was Carlos, who also said that I should gather a full band to play this material live later.
I told him it was going to be hard to find a drummer and he promptly volunteered to play drums.
We scheduled a rehearsal and it was pretty cool and I immediately talked to Gustavo and Lola that I knew well and also knew how they worked and they also embraced the project.
We carried on with the recordings and record the video for "On Discussing Wolves" that was awesome and we really enjoyed the final product
So we started sending this material all around
And people enjoyed it. Then it was on the paper, radio, blogs... 1:31
So I sent this material to HBB because it is the best label in Brazil in our style and we wanted to do something good.
They liked the project and thought the idea was great so we are going to make our first release in cd and vinyl
And dude, this was really a childhood dream and now it is real.
So that's it. I would like to thank HBB for believing in this project and also everyone believing in it with us, listening to our songs, talking to us to give us feedback or to ask what's up
And also to say that this is a new experience to the four of us, it's being incredible and we hope to go even further and that's it.
Hold on because we there is so much more to come!!
